( Back )
Answer #1:
do what you want to do and forget what other people say..Answer #2:
Nope. You don't, but it helps to at least enjoy it some.Answer #3:
Of course you don't need passion. All you need is a willingness to work for a living. If you can't learn something because your brain isn't capable of processing something, then that just means you aren't clever enough. A lack of interest in a subject doesn't mean you can't do it.Answer #4:
You need to figure out what you're passionate about...there must be something....Answer #5:
I don't think you have to be passionate in your career but it certainly leads to a lot more productivity. Look at the people who are doing great in their careers; they love what they do and that's their driving force behind innovation and a huge part of their success. Everyone's story is different but when you love what you do, it's not really "working" anymore because they don't force themselves to get out of bed to have another draggy day.The problem you may have is that you've been trying too hard. When you force yourself to find something you love, it usually won't happen. Why? Because while you're looking, you're constantly worrying about whether or not you like it enough, wondering if you're interested enough, you're just more stressed out. Imagine trying to find your significant other this way. If you keep focusing on whether or not you really love them or putting up expectations, you'll miss out on the other details that make it worthwhile.
It doesn't always have to be black and white. Just because you're not interested in it doesn't mean the brain can't process it. Try to keep an open mind and look out for opportunities. You never know what's coming to approach you and the next thing that comes up might be something you really enjoy doing. Try to let go of finding your interest and just let it come to you instead. Don't worry about not finding it by tomorrow, the next week or month, just wait for it and seize the chance once it arrives.
I think that's all you have to do. You seem a bit uptight so try and loosen up a bit and just enjoy life. There must be something you enjoy doing and once you find it out, find a career in it and work your way up.
